The Top Jazz Musicians/Bands of the 1900s

Music is the soul of life, a life that reflects on emotions, memories, events and stories that portrays an actual picture of what was felt and relive every memory from a tune. When a black musician from New Orleans spread out the Jazz music all over the world and still remains the root of all the 20th century music art. Although these multi-talented black men who introduce this musical art to the world has failed to receive the financial gain and the recognition due them because of racism. Jazz music was never cut into the kitchen blue, because of some great talent like Louise Armstrong, Satchmo and Ella Fitzgerald, Jelly Boll Morton and Duke Ellington. These are among the many that made the music industry worth looking back.

Every love affair has its own song and every war has its very own special music, even the devastating world war one is never exempted; music at those times can be reflected solely on what is happening, the popular songs and music was sung indeed during the war time. Americans has to divert word to elude the German language like frankfurters became hotdogs. Among the best and most celebrated songs are; Keep the Home Fires burning, Would you rather be a Colonel with an eagle on your shoulder or a Private with a chicken on your knee, I’m always chasing rainbows and the  How ya Gonna keep’em down the farm. An excellent essay that foretell about the war that covers the world during that time where people are more than scared to even sing.

Even world war two has its own music to sing, hatred was all over the world, killings are rampant, mercy is never the issue but when to win and who must win; dead or alive. Lives were taken, spent and some are freely given. Reasons are not important, questions never answered, answers never heard and when music starts rolling. The silent voices of truth immerge, silent as it may be but through the music of great musicians and singers alike, they were able to bring about the memory. The painful memory of disagreement, power and greed; let alone personal lies that makes one country falls against the other. It is time, timely and timing that made it all come to one purpose.

The Big Bands has a paramount popularity from the year 1935 up to 1947, even it wasn’t considered Jazz but the musicals scoring often used and arranged it hot. It gathers popularity when from their music life became normal; lives are restored for even a minute. To listen to their music makes every lonely soul alive, every bleeding heart comes around with a thin line on their lips, separated couples becomes one with the music. The magic was not only from Aladdin and his lamp, the flying carpet is far beyond compare to the magical enthusiasm Jazz music and musicians has brought the people from the 1990’s up to the present time. That is where we should begin to appreciate music and its tune, from there Jazz is one of a kind.
